I’m confused, are you?

Ever been in a meeting with an HR person and thought to yourself “WTF are they saying, are they even speaking English??” I’ve worked in the HR world for almost 10 years and still find myself thinking this…

Just like our friends in Finance, sometimes it feels like every second word that comes out of HR is an acronym designed to confuse people.

Even the department name is commonly an acronym! (“HR” or “P&C”).

In an attempt to help my own network, I’ve been pulling together the below glossary of common NZ HR acronyms I’ve come across.

I’m hopeful that this will help us understand each other better!
